This is our second time at Weelaway. Great place for a stopover to Carnarvon. Pet friendly spacious room. Short walk to the waterfront area, bars and restaurant. Highly recommended.
Spectacular property. My room was just as the photograph showed; actually better in real life. The shared facilities; the full sized kitchen, lounge, dining area were far better than I expected. Also, there is a large outside sitting area. Thought has gone into making this property stand out from the usual accommodation. Wi-Fi worked well, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom great.
Only a couple of small comments. The desk (huge) could do with a lamp, and there should be a recycling bin in the kitchen (or did I just not see it?)
Great, stand out accommodation.
Beautifully kept cottage, so quaint and fascinating. The bed was super comfortable and it was great having our own ensuite. Looking forward to staying again in 5 weeks time.
Absolutely loved it, so comfortable and homely. Attention to detail, everything we needed was provided. I would love to stay there again. Very convenient location too.
It's a lovely 150 year old house really centrally located. Big floorboards and interesting decor. Loved that we could use the kitchen and had a big lounge area to hang out in. Bedrooms were huge and the bed was comfy.
Weelaway is our go-to place to stay in Geraldton. Its clean, comfortable, and my wife can have her support dog with her. The only recent change has been the deletion of the continental breakfast, but everything else seems the same. We will be back again when we need to be.
A lovely old house that was probably stunning at some point in the past and with a lot of hard work could be again.
Major turnoffs were dusty rooms unusable furniture, wallpaper friezes severely damaged and falling off walls, large artworks attempting to cover defects in toilet walls.
Grounds were in a very poor state, could look so nice with some tlc. We viewed photos of the property in 2009 and it was stunning. Not sure why it’s in such a dilapidated state. Quiet street close to everything

Liked: Cleanliness, amenities
Nice big house with private rooms and common kitchen and lounge area. A bit too far from attractions and restaurants to walk to, but a short drive.
Our go-to accommodation in Geraldton. Been there several times already. And our dog is also welcome.

Make sure you are not given the Regency room no ensuite had to walk to back of building for bathroom which was ok just VERY INCONVIENIENT AND SEPARATE TOILET CRAMPED NO
It was a very nice room in a nice, historic building. Having access to the kitchen was very handy, but the fridge and freezer didn't seem to be cold enough. Also, the Wi-fi was pretty sporadic in our room. But all in all, it was a very nice place to stay. Recommended!
I really love this cottage. It's good located and very quite. It have everything you need and just like home. My wife said she even doesn't want to leave. Definitely will consider staying here again next time.
Great location and lovely unique heritage property.
Note it does not include breakfast but you can use the kitchen t9 make your own, or great restaurant in Gregory Street for breakfast.
