"Hi arrived late due to having car problems so i was already abit annoyed but when I went check in there was no rooms available for our stay this was though no fault of the staff eggy was absolutely brilliant but Expedia had stuffed up. She went above and beyond to find us other accommodation which we were greatful for but were abit sad as we were really looking forward to staying here so we just want to send her a massive thank you for making a bad day less stressful Cheers charmaine and john"

"The whole facility was extremely well maintained. From the grounds to the toilets and showers. Was a busy time, but the layout of the camp means it was quiet. Great location."

"This cottage exceeded expectations. The photos didn’t show all the eclectic, quaint decor that added to the overall character. The mattresses were newer (not overly soft/worn). We oooed and ahhhed at the original details but enjoyed all the modern conveniences as well. We even built a fire in the fireplace and relaxed listening to the crackles :) We had everything we needed for a very comfortable, enjoyable nights stay."

"Pros; clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet, private, nice landscaping. Cons: smelled musty, dated interior (or is it intentionally retro..) A wonderful spot close to the lake at the end of a road. We only encountered staff as we were leaving. My wife and I stayed in one of the cottages before a Doubtful Sound cruise. It is a peaceful place."

"Lakefront Lodge was a perfect overnight stay for us while in Te Anau. The staff were very helpful and kind. There was no issue leaving a bag overnight while we stayed on Doubtful Sound. The location is great for a lakefront walk and close to the amenities of town. The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious and clean. There were cooking facilities although we didn't use them. Would stay again."

"I stayed in one of the cabins for two nights in October 2026. It was lovely and clean, and quiet. I had everything needed to ensure a comfortable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Mike who I met on arrival. It’s is within walking distance to the shopping area and the lakefront. I would definitely recommend staying there and will do so myself."

"El Hotel está muy bien ubicado y creo que es el más bonito de la ciudad tiene un muy buen desayuno, aunque ya se ven un poco viejas las instalaciones el gimnasio está en otro Hotel de la misma cadena y deja mucho que desear las vistas que tiene el Hotel son bonitas"
