"Our arrival at the hostel was delayed but we called and were happy that they waited for us to check in. That done, we went to the room and one of the rooms had a horrible smell of sewage. "The resort is well situated and beautiful in the countryside. The hotel is separate from the chalets or houses. They do not provide you with towels, bath mats and toiletries. We were not aware of this. The house has two floors but the toilet is on the first floor and the bathroom is on the second floor. "Our stay at Pierre and Martine's farmhouse was wonderful! The view from the backyard out into the pasture's is breathtaking and the kindness shown to us and our family was delightful. We enjoyed day trips to Brugge, Chimay, Dinant, Namur, and Bastogne. Also, don't miss Maresous Abbey a short ride away."
