"Lovely hotel in Rome, not far from the points of interest. The street noise is very loud with the windows open but once closed it was very quiet. The front staff Beatrice and others were very helpful and friendly. It was a nice place to stay, good breakfast, nice little bar area and the pool area was nice but too cold to enjoy."

"Nice stay overall. Property has some fascinating architectural features (look up when you’re in the lobby, quite hypnotic!). It is dated, though. The family room in which we were staying had a fun layout with separate kids room and plenty of space in the airy living room, but could use some renovations. 400$ for one night wasn’t really cheap. "Great hotel! Small place, just about 6-10 rooms, but the owner is a greeaattt host!! He is always available at the front desk to answer questions and make great conversation! Breakfast was included and adequate. Rooms are larger than most I have been in in Italy. Room had a large bathroom, comfortable large bed, adequate shower with great water pressure as well as a balcony where you can smoke. "44 bus into Marcello Theatre and historic centre stopped virtually outside. Late night flights may mean a 40 euro taxi journey from Fiumicino airport. 5 min walk to tram stop and other bus routes and about 40 mins on bus to Vatican or Marcello Theatre. Hotel is a converted school and in a mainly residential area so quiet at night. Would say 3 star rather than 4 stars but was good value and staff were polite."
