"This place has a rat infestation. My parents were in one of the beachfront cottage and they saw a rat in their cottage. Unfortunately this was no surprise to the management as they admitted to complaints made by other guests for that cottage. We checked recent reviews and confirmed that other people have complained about this. Due to this issue my wife and I barely slept the first night as we had our lights on to keep potential rats away. "This was the only bad place I stayed in out of the 8 hotels I stayed in during my PH trip. I actually stayed there months ago, long story but rude and unhelpful staff and none of the facilities were allowed to be used because they “had a Jollibees function the next day so they wanted to keep the facility areas tidy for them” yes I was also a paying guest when told this. No wifi, crazy loud AC. "

"Unfortunately Jolitosplace is not open at present. I arrived late in the evening to find it padlocked shut. The local villagers tried to help me, but they discovered that the hotel owner is away and their hotel is not open for business. Fortunately they helped me find alternative accommodation. I am now trying to get a refund as full payment was taken online, despite the hotel being closed for business. It should not be listed on hotel.com"
