"The troglodyte house was exactly as described - made from a cave set in teh side of a hill. It was comfortable and well furnished, and we received a very warm welcome from the owners. The balcony with its view over Saint Chamas was the best part. The house is well situated for exploring Provence but if you're hiring a car, don't choose anything too big - the lanes leading to the property are narrow and the parking is best-suited to a small-medium car!"

"We enjoyed our stay in this home conveniently located to Aix and the other nearby villages. Unlike other vacation homes, this one is truly someone's residence, so it contained many personal effects down to the homeowner's own hair products. Given this, we had all of the necessary items to cook, do laundry, etc. The air conditioning was excellent and we had plenty of hot water for showers. "Really loved staying at this relaxing beach town. It is a 30 min drive to Marcilles, having a car is helpful for this reason, even to get to the local downtown. We used Bolt and that was fine. I would stay here again but with the agenda to just stay and relax and swim… Cat was very friendly. Water shoes recommended. Float for the water also recommended."

"Staying in an 18th century chateau is a not to be missed experience. the photos accurately depict the property. Be prepared, though, for some relatively minor inconveniences such as antique wiring, limited wi fi, uncomfortable beds etc. We spent a week there, enjoyed our stay, and were happy to move on."
