This Hotel is Awesome The owners are so nice it was truly a joy to stay when we left I felt like we were leaving family. The hotel is perfectly located close enough to everything but far enough away to be peaceful. I would recommended this hotel for anyone's stay in Ellijay

We travel some every year; and what I try to find is a well maintained older motel. These are often on or close to an old US highway that parallels an Interstate; and were likely built before the Interstate system was complete. They were very nice when new. However with the Interstate system now in place, there is a lot more traffic, and this gives the new larger motel chains an incentive to build more and more brand new state of the art units, with a price tag to go with it. This is by far the cleanest hotel that I have ever stayed in. Everything was clean, the walls had no marks on them and looked freshly painted. We were very impressed. The staff was very nice and helpful - we arrived late for our reservation, but too early to check in for the next day and they gave us a room anyway but didn't charge for the 1st day. I was prepared and expecting to pay for 2 nights, but the woman at the desk refused to charge us for 2 nights which I thought was above and...
