DON’T MISS: Sunday market in Evandale - a cute town only 30 minutes away by public bus (check the schedule), even shorter by car. Also, have breakfast or brunch at “Earthly Eats” on Kingsway, 8 min walk from hotel, great menu + food! "

"Bed is very hard and uncomfortable. Very hot in room, and air conditioner not up to the job. Rooms close to road are noisy due to Launceston's abundance of motoring enthusiasts with noise enhanced cars. Opened window to try and cool room but of course it is then even noisier. I asked for a room further from the road but was told they were full. "

"Overall, the new extension building housing the 4th floor rooms is a good place for business travel. The staffs are super helpful and friendly. Close to city, CBD area and main arterial roads. The rooms are tidy and since it is rather new comparing to the old wing, not much of smell or dampness, apart from some left over aroma from room service delivery in the elevator and hallway. The room number 405 which I stayed during the weekdays might be left for external bookings like expedia as it placed at the end of corridor right next to utility room and aircon machine housing unit which generates a contant noice 24-7 which seeps inside the room. Not sure who was the engineer who passed the unit as he might not know that accepted night time db level is 45. They need serious sound proofing and sound insulation in that room. "
