"This hotel has gone through a major renewal over the past 10+ years. I lived in Grantown-on-Spey for over a decade and I have seen this hotel at its absolute worst. It is now an absolute gem of a local hotel. Conveniently located in the center of the Scottish Highlands making day trips to 4 corners of Scotland quite doable. I know, I have done it!! The breakfast is beautifully Scottish. Well worth starting your day off with a full Scottish breakfast. After a day out being an accidental tourist...

"Cozy, warm, made us feel completely at home! Great breakfasts! Special little touches like fresh flowers in local gin bottles, wee dram of scotch, cookies and chocolate. Awesome bed! Nice, crisp white sheets, comfy white comforter and good pillows! Loved the decor and the red doors!"

"Hosts were very friendly and attentive, providing a great welcome and suggestions for dinner in the evening, as well as a recommendation of an activity to do the next day after we checked out. Bathroom was private for our room, though not connected to the room itself. The bathroom was very nice. Our room also had a sink in the bedroom itself. Bed was a bit soft - the mattress was not the most comfortable, but overall, no issue. We very much enjoyed our stay, and if we stay in the area again...

"Ginny and Steve are the most lovely hosts. So helpful and sweet! Breakfast is outstanding - delicious, freshly cooked, extremely generous portions, and an extremely wide selection of items. The town of Grantown on Spey is small, so not many eateries to choose from for dinner. But the B&B is just a couple blocks away from a peaceful wooded walk to the river. "
