"Landed by chance in this fabulous hotel. Couldn't make it home so had to stay somewhere. Got a last minute deal late in the evening. I had time for a couple of pints in the big wooden lodge style building accessed via a wooden bridge. Great singer entertaining. Whole hotel is set in forest but 60 seconds from main road to Cairngorms. Bus stop at entrance. Next time I stay I'll be bring my wife and dogs. They'd love it here."

"Glenan Lodge Self Catering was a great place to stay, quiet and a great base to explore the area. We enjoyed the living area downstairs as well as the very well equipped kitchen. A bonus was the super comfy bed!"

"We were on a long drive home from the North Coast to Edinburgh and decided late to give up and spend the night in Aviemore. This was perfect, lovely hotel, great service, excellent filling breakfast included. And perfect location for heading up to the Cairngorm Mountain Railway the next day. "
