Staff were very helpful, the hotel was a wonderful surprise. Al the amenities were an incredible touch. The room was very modern, never been to a hotel that had such incredible modern features. The restaurant was delicious, the waiter went beyond his duties to make us feel special. We were doing the Camino of Santiago and after completing it, rented a car in Porto and found this great town and best hotel.

Good location, nice breakfast

The Melia in Aveiro was the perfect place to stay to explore the northern part of Portugal. The hotel is very beautiful in a great location in a beautiful city. The room was very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. There was ample parking for our car and the breakfast was delicious.

Great location, close to everything, I walked everywhere including to the train station every day to do day trips. It's right next to a lovely museum and restaurants everywhere. Lovely small town. Hotel was cool, old school, staff lovely and helpful and speak English. Horacio at the front desk went above and beyond to help me and make sure my stay was a pleasant one. I stayed for 6 nights and I will gladly stay here again if ever I'm back in Aveiro 😁

We loved this lovingly restored old mercantile/home before we even walked in the door. The owner maintained all the original beauty and characteristics. He even arranged for a local restaurant to make the one meal we love and hadn’t been able to find. Breakfast was absolutely lovely surrounded by so much history.

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Our hosts could not be more polite. We had a wonderful stay, and recommend it to anyone who likes beautiful nature! We loved it!

This boutique hotel should win every award it is eligible to win! The interior design is exceptional and the staff are consummate professionals. The daily breakfast is fantastic with options for all palates. I will visit again!

Everything was great

Great staff and service. Very centrally located. Quiet and safe. Strongly recommend. Right now there is major construction happening across the street in a park which limits parking accessibility, but there was no noise impact while we stayed at the hotel.
