"We had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Gocek a family run hotel twice - at the beginning of our sailing trip and return for two days at the end. The property is spotless, the gardens are beautiful and very well maintained. Our room was spacious with a balcony overlooking the garden. They were very accommodating with our early arrival and had us comfortable by the pool until we could access our room. "Funda Otel is no longer as described and nothing like in photos! NO daily room service - we stayed 3 nights and didn't even get our toilet paper bin emptied! Had to ask for a clean towel. NO mini bar, not even water. NO pool umbrellas or pool bar. Worst of all bathroom was dirty, mould in shower and toilet hadn't been cleaned! Bed and linen ok but all sufaces and floor needed cleaning. Breakfast was ok and some staff were friendly. Family are all living there and using common spaces. Would NOT...

"We stayed only 1 night. It’s was quiet. Regret that we could not get anybody to help us with carrying the suitcases up to the room (no lifts). Dinner was tasty. Major complaint is the absolute overuse of single use plastic, of individual food packaging, but we found that to be generalised in Turkey. No environmental policies! "
