"Only ground floor room or one room with locked adjoining door with stranger left at 6pm when I checked in. The hotel knew that I was a female travelling on own and had many couples and families staying, yet no accommodation made for this. They also knew this wasn't ideal as they apologised. To be fair on the staff they offered free parking overnight as a result, however not ideal given reports in the media this week about single female staying in another hotel chain. Hairdryer in room did not work, staff not interested when I reported at checkout (good job I had also brought a small travel one, otherwise would have mean a soggy trip to reception!) Again, to be fair I have used this hotel before and not had any problems. Hotel clean, fairly priced, good breakfast. "

"Ibis Cambridge iw so convenient to the train. Right next door. The staff met us kindly and took our bags until checkin so we could go explore. Our room was clean and quiet and quiet comfortable."

"Positives: The house looks like the photos in the description. Comfortable & clean bedding & towels. Hot showers, and a television and thermostat which work. Parking is right in front of the property. Negatives: Poor communication with owners. Requests and needs are ignored. Rushed out of house 1 hour before checkout. Things are missing/broken in the house. Pots & pans are scratched and rusted. There are no baking/measuring tools. There are no dish towels. (We had to dry the dishes/countertops with bath towels.) There is an overwhelming smell of mold under the stairs. The plumbing has a strong odor downstairs. (Tiles have been left open, to ventilate these areas.) Broken hair dryer. (Burning smell) "

"I imagined the games room to be attached to the back of the house. Instead it was more like a shed in the garden area! The garden has unfortunately not been maintained, especially the lawn! It could be a real asset.The parking area is not as large in reality as the online images suggest, and access is currently impeded by construction (not the host’s fault!)Having said this, the kitchen has good pans, dishes and most things one would need for a large group.But, please add some kind of coffee making equipment, such as a French press! It was unique in this area among the four vrbo properties we used on our trip.For the maximum specified occupancy dining and sitting areas would be inadequate."
