"I booked the hotel because there is a roof top terrace to see the West Lake. But in fact, the roof top terrace is closed all the time. I was disappointed. But the staff was nice. The room is a bit outdated but clean. "

The front rooms have large windows with lateral view of the lake promenade (ask for a room on the left wing for more scenic views). All the staff was very attentive and helpful but concierge Tim stood out, suggesting and booking tours and entertainment to fit my schedule. "
