The room space and bathroom are generous and was sufficient for 2 guests, each travelling with a medium-sized suitcase 4. Small bar fridge to keep food/drinks cold 5. "Check-in at Bistro, complimentary drink of our choice on arrival. Owner took us to the house which is situated in parkland a few minutes drive away. The room was very clean and tidy, had all amenities. We walked to the Bistro to eat - generous portions & delicious food. Richard was our server, he was very welcoming, attentive & spoke excellent English always happy to help with recommendations from the menu. We had some laundry done while we were there, very quick turn around at a very reasonable price - with a smile too. You need a car to stay & see the beautiful Plitvice Lakes. Everyone was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble - would definitely recommend. "

"We stayed for 6 nights at this hotel and thought it was excellent! We loved the atmosphere especially with our two children aged 3 and 8. The food was excellent and the facilities all well organised and very clean. The star of the holiday was the kids club - our children have never been to a children’s club while on holiday before but this time we could hardly get them out of it - amazing staff, very safe and well run with a full itinerary of varied and exciting activities for them to get up to as well as multiple academies! This was our first trip to a falkensteiner resort but we would definitely be keen to go again after this brilliant experience - thank you very much!"
