"Amazing home, well cared for and thought out. Everything you would need. Owners are extremely thoughtful and easy to communicate with. Easy check in and check out process. Easy access to so much to do around the area. We were a group of 7 who were 9-75. All enjoyed the time together. "

"What a lovely, cozy, serene, and dog friendly eco friendly cabin to relax at! The loft bed was super comfortable, the small kitchenette was perfect for making your own meals, the sauna was a great option to do some self care, followed by an outdoor shower! Campfires, stars galore and a great deck to enjoy facing Lake Superior!
Always appreciate a dog friendly spot that charges a reasonable fee. My senior dog loved laying in the plush grass and on the deck surveying the land.
Stevie was fabulous with timely communication and easy to follow explanation of property details. Highly recommend a stay at Campo!"

"The views from the house were exquisite and Shayla was very responsive whenever we had a question. The deck, which goes of the way around the house, was a nice touch. The kitchen was well equipped and the windows were beautiful. There was plenty of paper towels and toilet paper. The pool table and foosball table in the basement would be great for a family. "

"Perfect for a solo retreat! I needed some relaxing time alone in the woods (in a beautiful maple forest, no less), but still wanted to be somewhat close to civilization, and this was the spot! I got such refreshing, restful sleep every night in this absolutely quiet, tiny (but airy) playhouse of a cottage, thanks to the super cozy and comfy bed! It was all just so sweet—even if, as I did, you just want to hang out and read as you listen to the rain all day. Grand Marais is only eighteen minutes away, so it was easy to run to town for dinner at the Angry Trout(!) and another time a mid-morning latte and fabulous pastries at the new Crosby bakery. Stevie and Juani, were wonderful, generous hosts—easy to reach via text. They have furnished this very clean, fairy tale of a house with north woods elegance (I especially love the velvet curtains) without it being over-decorated or cluttered. I had everything I needed, and felt perfectly at home all four nights I was there. A perfect way to have spent my 65th birthday and just the week I needed! "

"It's a really cool spot back in the woods but close to a lot of parks and Grand Marais. The roads are gravel, but pretty well graded. It has good power and lots of cozy additions like throw blankets, nice chairs, a great fire pit, and a really cool upper deck to have breakfast on. We didn't use the grill, but there is one there. The sauna is pretty nice. It's close to the house, but far enough away that you have privacy while sharing it with the other cabin. The sled dogs and wolves howl a lot at night, which is pretty cool, but may spook your dogs or your kids. Our dog was spooked at first, but quickly realized he was totally safe by the fire. The lack of running water and outhouse situation can be a little rough at night when you just need to pee, but the outhouse was pretty clean and easy to walk to, even in the dark. It does smell pretty bad though, so be ready for that when you go in. That's literally the only rough camping part of it, everything else is absolutely beautiful and really peaceful and relaxing. We had a great time and the host were really nice and thoughtful."

"I took my girlfriend there for weekend retreat exploring the nearby waterfalls and border. All within a short drive. The cabin is very cute, cozy, and peaceful. Gorgeous night skies. The only negative i can think of was the driveway. Extremely steep. Must have all wheel drive or 4x4. But, to be fair it does mention that in the description. "
