"The lock on my door was broken and the iron was broken. However, the room was spotless, the staff were kind and professional, and I didn’t have to leave the hotel for dinner. I would stay here again. "

"When we arrived we found the place to be pretty filthy. There were many drawers in vanities that didn’t close, you could see the light in the bathroom along the top of the wall in the bedroom which meant the walls dont even line up with the ceiling, there was why I am assuming was toothpaste stains all over the bathroom mirror and down the front of the vanity, broken shades leaving the bedrooms exposed to the windows so you couldn’t feel any privacy in the rooms etc. On top of that, the wrong address was sent so we had to piece things together from the pictures on the listing to get to the right house. We didn’t have a choice but to stay because we were there for a conference. The neighborhood was not great either, leading to an overall experience that was not very enjoyable. I can deal with cosmetic issues, but a house not being clean is not acceptable. "

"I want to start by saying Matt was wonderful as a host. He was quick to respond with a few issues we had. This review does not reflection him whatsoever, but I do feel the need to be honest when writing reviews. The home was listed as two parking spaces in front of the house. However that was not the case as it is a extremely busy Street and a large truck and trailer park in front of our house each day and night. We had to park a few houses up and walk to the home which wasn't a huge issue, just slightly inconvenient ( just a heads up you better know how to parallel park). When we arrived in the home the temp was set to 58 ( it was freezing ) the home is equipped with a smart thermostat that is touch activated and was very difficult to get to 68 let alone 70 when it was in the 40s outside. The thermostat would only go back to comfort mode and kick the temp back down into the 60s. I had let Matt know the issue and he even offered to bring us heaters late at night. After some fiddling every couple hours we got it to stay at 68 the next night ( still a bit chilly but manageable).My biggest complaint would be the hot tub. I have never in my life been in a pool or hot tub that had such a high chlorine level that it literally choked you when you turn the Jets on from the fumes. Children and adults had rashes, my grandfather's shirt and swimming trunks were bleached. I'm not sure if they just treated it right before we stayed but we definitely were not able to enjoy it. "
