"Nice, clean roomy and close to a lot downtown "

"I recently stayed at Sonesta Hotel and Resorts Columbus Downtown for a work trip, and I would not recommend this hotel. Housekeeping was inconsistent from the start. My room was not cleaned after my first day, and I was told service is only provided upon request. Even after requesting it for the next day, the room was still not cleaned. When they finally did service the room, only the bed was made and towels were replaced—surfaces, bathroom, and floors were not cleaned at all. The most concerning issue was finding a bedbug in the bed during our stay. This is every traveler’s worst nightmare. When I reported it, the staff apologized, but their reaction made it seem like this may not have been an isolated incident. Additionally, when I opened the curtains, I found dirty socks covered in pet hair left behind, which clearly shows the room was not properly cleaned or inspected. There were also billing concerns. Even though the charges to my room were eventually zeroed out, there were still charges on the bill that should not have been there in the first place. This raises concerns about their attention to detail and billing accuracy. Also worth noting: the hotel restaurant is overpriced, so I recommend dining elsewhere. Overall, between the cleanliness issues, lack of proper housekeeping, the bedbug incident, and billing concerns, I would strongly suggest choosing a different hotel."

"What a fun place to stay. You see something new everytime you walk through the house. Our stay was absolutely wonderful and if i ever come back I WILL stay here again. Thankyou for the awesome house!!"

"No refrigerator as described in the hotel amenities. Just dirty carpet in the spot where it was supposed to be. Called the hotel desk and stated it wasn't supposed to have one. When checking out they said it was supposed to have one. All my yogurts and lunch meat spoiled. "

"The entire house was very neat and clean. The communication with the host was always prompt and detailed. The rooftop deck was perfect for our group as well. "

"When we arrived we found the place to be pretty filthy. There were many drawers in vanities that didn’t close, you could see the light in the bathroom along the top of the wall in the bedroom which meant the walls dont even line up with the ceiling, there was why I am assuming was toothpaste stains all over the bathroom mirror and down the front of the vanity, broken shades leaving the bedrooms exposed to the windows so you couldn’t feel any privacy in the rooms etc. On top of that, the wrong address was sent so we had to piece things together from the pictures on the listing to get to the right house. We didn’t have a choice but to stay because we were there for a conference. The neighborhood was not great either, leading to an overall experience that was not very enjoyable. I can deal with cosmetic issues, but a house not being clean is not acceptable. "
