"Good location close to Sandstone and Grandview visitor centers"

"Property isn’t bad. FANTASTIC parking lot if you have a larger vehicle or a trailer behind you. Hotel itself is older and showing some signs of being tired but kept in good shape. Only complaint was I waited 20 min for the front desk clerk to show up to check me in. She was no where to be found. Not exactly what one wants after 18 hours of driving."

"Good for a quick stop in Beckley"

"The staff were terrific and the hotel was clean. My biggest complaint is that we did not receive housekeeping service after our first day and were not advised if this is normal or what the situation is. Plus, there were four of us in the room, which they knew, but there were only three towels and three washcloths. The man running the breakfast area was a rock star. He was super friendly and I saw him going out of his way several times for the guests, especially the older ones who had a little...

"Ok"

"When we got to Comfort Inn they told us that they overbooked and that we could go to a "sister" hotel a few miles away. I am not sure how they could overbook when we booked 6 months ago. When we got to Holiday Lodge (the name of the "sister" hotel) and got to our room it smelled horribly of smoke. There was a dead bug caught in a cobweb near the ceiling and there were wads of hair stuck to the side of the shower. I was disgusted. I really feel like I should get a refund for that night."

"That was very clean updated I had no problem with those. The tissues were not in the bathroom and I have an allergy so I needed dose. Otherwise everything on the property was very good and I would recommend a Howard johnsons to anyone traveling through Beckley"

"kind of a dump, doors don’t shut properly. “breakfast” was packaged muffins, pool closed."

"The property was clean and convenient"

"Cost was good. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was excellent, very friendly."

"we got a room and someone else was in it. and it was pretty dirty :/"

"This facility was hard to find. The sign from the road was Smart Extended Stay - or something like that, but in front of the building are a bunch of U-hauls available for rent, so you can't really see the faciltity from the road. Don't go down the road to the back - the office is in the front building. Park in the front. The front desk person was very nice. Check in and out was easy. The room was fine, nothing to complain about. The room must have originally been 2 double beds (or queens)...

"Room had a burn hole in the carpet. Only 2 places to charge phones.computer. none of them worked. Very frustrating. Room had a coffee pot but no where to plug it in. Arrived on Fri and left on Tues and we only had room service 1 time. The officer Mgr assured my husband it would be serviced on Sat and it was not. Finally got serviced on Mon am after talking to another desk mgr."
