"The views, hotel is set on the cliff looking over the bay. Hotel was really very old and unique. Staff were very nice and helpful. We stayed in an annex a short winding path through the lovely gardens We had breakfast everyday and dinner twice in the hotel all lovely would recommend eating in."

"From arrival to leaving nothing was too much trouble. I was on my own and the staff were more than helpful as to where to visit . The food was varied and excellent. Breakfast was basic continental but didn’t want any more. I make what I consider sensible comments not criticism and mentioned these to them. 1 possibly a small fridge in the room in view of current conditions but found out I was lucky and had a larger room so this wasn’t feasible throughout. I tray in shower to hold bits would be helpful. I mentioned. Non slip shower mat but was informed that they were available but no one asked. All in all an excellent 3 nights and I would go again. After I lose weight from the food!"

"I purchased 2 nights for my daughter and son in law to coincide with the races. They loved it - the helpful and friendly staff, chauffeur service, EV charging, fabulous breakfast, big bath and comfy bed were all top notch. A lovely luxury hotel in a beautiful location. They enthused about the hotel so much I definitely need to book for ourselves!"

The Silverdale Hotel

8/10 Good

"Only one person seemed to be about when we were checking in and she was serving at bar and answering phone as well. Nice big bedroom and bathroom but it was incredibly hot in the heat wave. We did find a fan in the wardrobe but it would have been handy if they had told us it was there. Had a drink in the garden which was lovely in the shade. Was hoping to try one of the pies for dinner that they advertise but they only had mince ones. I had fish and chips and my husband had ham and eggs, both were very nice but we had wanted to try the pies! Breakfast was cooked to order and spot on. Had to order what we wanted the night before. Waitress very friendly as were all the staff. No proper complaints. Would stay again."

"We recently stopped at Grange Manor for a couple of nights and we’re not disappointed. The rooms are exceptionally well set up with excellent facilities The private hot tub outside was a nice treat Breakfast was brought to the room at the requested time and did not disappoint The manor is a short walk into Grange and we would not hesitate in recommending"
