The Seafront Hotel by Compass Hospitality

"We booked a superior twin room with a sea view and were not disappointed. The room was well presented, with a kettle and coffee machine, good sized wall mounted TV, excellent sea view, good sized beds, spacious bathroom and shower. it also has plenty of storage space, a fan, hair drier and iron. Breakfast was included in our package and was excellent, all you can eat options, including fresh fruit, cereals, yogurts, bakery options, juices and of course the cooked breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausages, beans and hash browns. When we were staying there was also 2 full coaches booked in but this did not affect the breakfast servings at all. Overall we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay."

"Enjoyed our short stay, Great location was lucky in being able to park right outside. Loved the Welsh breakfast & the fruit salad was equally as good. The only gripe would be that they ask you what time to expect you & they are not ready to book you in. Was informed the room was not ready & either go for a walk or sit outside to 30 mins. Which is not that much of an inconvenience but when you are allowed to your room, you are met with bundles of dirty linen & towels outside bedroom doors. Not a good start it may have been because staff had let them down but at the end of the day it's not very welcoming. That aside would recommend & if ever in the area would go back to stay."

"The property was clean and very tastefully decorated. Our room was quite small but adequate. Breakfast was first class. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel was conveniently situated and the sea front, pier and town were within walking distance. Parking is expensive and difficult to find during busy times. The hotel doesn’t have a car park. We enjoyed our two nights very much."

"When we arrived staff were lovely and friendly. The family room we had was on the top floor so although its a family room its not ideal when you have a baby or toddlers as we had to leave our strollers in the car. When we got to our room the children found chocolate on the floor which we had to dispose of and we found rubbish still in the room. Some of the shampoo bottles were already open and were leaking on the shelf next to the bath. The room was nice apart from that. The beds were made well. It wasnt very convenient trying to get all our luggage through the dinning room to get to our room and as we were leaving also i bumped into someone having breakfast as i was trying to get our stuff out as the passage through was narrow. It was a really lovely atmosphere though all the staff were so helpful and friendly, they had food alternatives to support allergies. During our stay we found that as there is an outdoor sitting area a-lot of the time when we left or came back to the hotel people were smoking and its close to the entrance of the hotel so we had to walk past and with have young children and a baby with us we didn’t like breathing it in or having it around the children. I did inform staff of the state of our room and the gentleman at reception apologised and said he would ensure he sorted it. I found that over all it was a really lovely stay. It was really convenient as we were across from the beach and we got a parking permit so we could park for free."

"Perfect location overlooking Llandudno, with easy access to Happy Valley for dog walks. We saw lots of the goats around there too. The room was really comfortable and clean and even the garden view has a sea view. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. Every morning the breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. The only downside was the parking. You either get blocked in or are blocked in and when the road is busy too, there really isn't anywhere else to park."

"Jaiden in reception was excellent !! Very helpful when our TV was broken and got us a new one and go it tuned in. Breakfast was very good but otherwise the food was very average and expensive for what it was !. Parking was expensive at £10 per day on the promenade and no parking available for me at the hotel. No changing rooms available for the pool, one of the reasons we chose this hotel so not very impressed with that as received no emails prior to coming about this. Thank you"
