A Majestic Home filled with Life’s Simplest Pleasures – Fishing, Boating and Stargazing with Family & Friends… in this 4 bedroom, 3 1/2 bath, 2-story knockout, sitting oh-so-pretty on over an acre of private land. 300’ of Silver Creek waterfront connects your boat to Big Green Lake. The main level offers a great room with 15’ floor-to-ceiling windows allowing spectacular views of nature’s best gifts.

On cool winter nights you will enjoy the home’s 2 fireplaces, especially the towering natural stone fireplace on the first floor. You will fall in love with the wrap around deck waterside, a Master bedroom with gleaming hardwood floors, private bath adorned with Kohler fixtures and a cedar closet with built-ins. Trimmings include 3 beautiful guest rooms, family room with doors to outdoor patios, pier & 3 car heated attached garage tree house. Take a bike ride to downtown Green Lake.

Great fishing off of the dock. Aerator installed. Feel free to bring your boat but discuss it with me first or rent one downtown. Close to golf courses and restaurants. Everything is new in this house, the furniture, beds, linens, silverware, plates, televisions, grill, and dining room table. Games, books, whiffelball field, volley ball net badminton, basketball hoop and inflatable items will be available. Brand new bluetooth speakers and high speed internet are also at the residence.

We enjoyed the large deck, dining room, and living area for our group of 8. The beds were very comfortable. We had all the necessities plus in this beautiful home. It was the best stocked house we have rented. Would definitely stay again!

What a wonderful home. Lots of space for everyone. Fully equipped with everything you need and then some. We had a great time fishing and swimming in Green Lake. Any problems that came up (loss of power from a storm) Matt was quick to let us know when the power was coming back on. He was wonderful to work with. Would love to come back sometime.Thanks Matt for your help and your beautiful home.

We had a great time in Green Lake. There was plenty of space for the entire group - 3 families. We had everything we needed to cook meals at the house and we were entertained by the TV, games and outdoor activities. We rented a pontoon and spent lots of time on the water. We hope to return someday, thank you Matt for sharing your home with us!

Green Lake Serenity

Amazingly memorable trip to Green Lake thanks in part to this beautiful property. Matt does a fantastic job of making sure the house has everything we needed. We caught northern pike off the dock and the fire pit was handy at night. The back deck has a great view of the channel/lake and the grill was 1st class. Communication was excellent, check in was super simple and we will definitely be back Thank you Matt!!!

Beautiful, well maintained property.

My friends and I had a fantastic stay. Highlights were the expansive deck, large backyard lawn, and nice views of the creek. The variety of birds viewable from the property (and the dock on the creek) was amazing! House was well equipped and could host sizeable groups.

Green Lake getaway

Beautiful home with lots of room for 10 adults to spread out and then be all together. Kitchen well stocked - even 2 refrigerators. Huge yard for multiple games. We rented a boat slip for 3 days and really enjoyed the big lake for skiing and boating. Only 6 to 7 hours from Indianapolis. Thanks Matt for your hospitality.

Green Lake Vacation

This is a large house with plenty of space to spread out. My son and his family had their area in the basement bedroom and bath. My daughter and her daughter had their bedroom and bath upstairs and my wife and I had the master bedroom with adjacent bath. The kitchen is a bit tight for counter space but the appliances all performed for us. One or two of our group would cook and my collective family enjoyed our meals at the dining room table or outside on the deck. We used the grill for brats, chicken and sweet corn ears, and the grill worked spendidly. We hooked up the hammock between trees along the shore and played yard games one warm August afternoon. A 5 gal pail of water and some water blasters added to the entertainment. At night, we used the provided split oak wood for a firepit fire. Mosquitoes were not an issue. Tree house was clean and we got up there a couple times. Matt alerted me that the duck weed would be present on the Green Lake backwater, and it was. However, the wind would shift it in and out of the slough. We kayaked through it or clear surface water a few times. Much to my surprise, the northern pike were hitting! I eventually learned that the pike were not deterred by the duck weed. On one day, I caught 5 northerns and the next morning before we departed, I caught two more. Lengths ranged from 18 to 31 inches, and it was a blast for me, and my family members who netted for me. I tried minnows but no strikes. Spinner bait did the trick, just as Matt said.

SPACIOUS, AIRY, VERY LIVEABLE, EXCELLENT FACILITIES

Our group (7) consisted of two older couples, a late-teenage/ college students couple, and one 18 year old college student. There were more than enough bedrooms & bathrooms to give everyone privacy and personal space. The house is quite large, lots of living space, kitchen very well equipped. Large windows so lots of daylight, many many overhead lights everywhere for great night time illumination (never dingy or dim at night). Huge surround deck for outside relaxation, & games. 6-7 min. to downtown. Plenty of towels, paper towels & toilet paper. We really enjoyed living there, lots of space to spread out, and space for your "stuff". Could have stayed much longer, very attractive and comfortable.

Great getaway

The kids really enjoyed having the kayaks to use throughout our stay. The water did get pretty mucky and we werent able to use them the last 3 days we were there unfortunately. The town is small but there were plenty of fun things to do. Green Lake was beautiful.

Beautiful Home & Convenient Location

Sprawling home with plenty of room for our family of 9 to spread out! Nice private yard, close to downtown, grocery, and walking trails. Matt was very accommodating and responsive. He helped us troubleshoot some internet and satellite issues we had on our second day, everything was quickly resolved. The house had all the comforts of home in a beautiful setting. We were able to dock our fish and ski boat at the cabin. The aerator does a good job keeping the duck weed away. We caught several northern pike right off the dock. The channel to get to the lake is long and shallow, but is easily maneuverable if you go slow. The public boat launch is right up the road. We really enjoyed our stay!

Edge Family Vacation 2023

Great House!

The only problem we had with the property was the location. The algae was pretty bad. Maybe earlier in the season would be better? There are kayaks provided, which was a selling point, but no clear spot to launch them from the house.

Memories to last a lifetime

Amazing home, fabulous VRBO! Thanks, Matt, for being so well prepared. We did everything we could during our stay. Kayaked, fished, wiffle ball, frisbee, biking, one-on-one basketball, chats around the fire pit, games fireside both upstairs and down. It was a fun-filled adventure from start to finish. We lacked for nothing! I’d go back in a heartbeat!
