The lodge made us feel like we were in a treehouse in the forest canopy, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck watching all the birds and looking out over the lake. We also enjoyed hiking on the nearby Turtle Trail where we saw some turtles. We kayaked on the lake, went swimming, took naps in our hammock, watched movies on the big couch in the living room, played pool in the downstairs game room, and...

"Ad should show only the unit that is to be rented, this ad showed another unit making it seem like that was one we were getting. Ended up not sleeping in it as no bathroom and leaving after seeing what it truly was. "

"My husband and I stayed here for the eclipse and had a good experience being able to see it from the deck ( a few new leaves added interest to the view). The inside space is as well done and efficiently arranged as any 600 sf space I've been in. We were comfortable, bed and linens were all very good. Added benefit was watching an eagle's nest!"
