A special mention for Bassam on reception. When we arrived to check in he was dealing with a very awkward and irate guest (who was completely in the wrong). Bassam dealt with everything in a most professional, calm and polite manner."

"We can't fault these wonderful cabins or the hosts, the cabins are beautifully built, with great style and attention to detail and everything you need to cater for your stay. Our little staffy loved watching out of the window when we were inside, and happily snoozed in front of the wood burner in the evening. The location is fantastic, right on the canal path leading to lovely walks up and over some great hilly trails so you don't even need to drive anywhere to find good walks, although you're also only a short drive from bigger peaks and the Pennine Way, or nearby towns and villages including Last of the Summer Wine filming location of Holmfirth. The hosts were amazing from start to finish, making sure everything was good for us, and giving great local knowledge on walks and places to eat. We 100% recommend staying here, and would happily return."
