"The hotel is perfectly positioned in the centre of Lancaster for shops, bars and pubs. Check in was very easy.
Don't know if it was the building, but getting mobile data signal in the room was difficult - make sure you know what the Wifi code is before going in! Ideally having it in the room somewhere would've been really useful!"
"I wasn’t happy it’s not a real hotel but that was forgotten as soon as I walked in. Beautiful room with an amazing hot tub and fireplace. I could have spent the whole vaca here. I relaxed and slept well. Highly highly recommend and will stay here again for sure!"
"You can’t hear noise from the bar which is great. Depending on which room you have (we’ve stayed twice) you can hear through the walls - we could hear cleaners in the morning. The manager kindly sent on lost property which we were grateful for. "

"Lovely country style rooms, clean wouldnt hesitate to stay here again."
"Overall exceeded expectations of what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. The restaurant has room for improvement but other than that great place for a quick overnight rest when traveling. "
"Comfortable enough and good for what we needed, place to stay in town centre for daughters graduation. Flat had everything you could need for a family stay. An option to rent another parking space would be good as we had more than one car."
"The Borough Hotel is a best choice to stay in Lancaster, whether on business or visiting the historic city of Lancaster out of interest. Centrally situated, the Georgian Hotel has a very good restaurant, although the breakfast included offer is not available for third party bookings, such as through Expedia. Still, the very good breakfasts on offer in the Restaurant are not very expensive. The staff are lovely and most helpful. Lancaster is a student city and the young people enhance the vibrant live music availability in the local hostelries of the city. Everything is in easy walking distance, making Lancaster an excellent choice for a short break for the not so young as well as those who also like to potter about the numerous shops and eateries in the commercial streets and arcades adorning the city centre. Of some note is the impressive Georgian architecture which adorns much of the City. Good choice all round."
"I speak on behalf of my family who stayed here. They had a slight problem accessing the key to the apartment but contact with Paul quickly sorted this out for them. They found the apartment spacious and comfortable and felt it was a good space for two people . All facilities easy to access and use such as TV Wi-Fi etc. Theyhad a problem with the bedside lamps which they could not turn on. Very pleased with the beds , comfortable , good nights sleep . Plenty of facilities , very pleased with security and quietness of the building. Two bathrooms including a walk in shower was appreciated. A nice view from the balcony of castle and river. "
