Historic Griffin Hotel

"As I approached the front desk, Ms Laura greeted me with a warm welcome and brilliant smile. She confirmed my reservation and provided a briefing of the hotel’s amenities. Being that the hotel was historical, I assumed old. On the contrary. The atmosphere equates to a ‘home away from home vibe’, exceeding my expectations. The interior was well maintained with modern features to include a piano and a well stocked bar in the foyer. The rooms are exquisitely decorated. The bedding is extremely comfortable. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and kind. Ms. Laura provided over and above care to me by answering questions and writing out driving instructions to a wedding venue in Milner. The care and kindness of the staff is hands down the best. I had such a delightful stay. I highly recommend."

"This home is a homestead of joy, fun, and warmth. We stay all the time! The host and the accommodations are the perfect family stay. We come and relax, enjoying all the amenities. We especially like the pool, land, nearby parks, and home-that-has-it-all! Great hosts and a wonderful place. WE stay often!!"

"We had a wonderful family weekend at Joyce‘s place for our son’s wedding in Griffin. The house is very spacious, spotless, and well appointed. The beds are great with comfortable mattresses and nice linens. Communication was fantastic. Such a beautiful property."

"We stayed at Shepard Lodge for my son’s wedding weekend. Courtney was an excellent host! The property was amazing and exceeded my expectations. Courtney was quick to respond to all questions about the property and helpful to answer questions during our stay. She left detailed information about the property and helpful information about restaurants and other places around the area. The home was fully stocked with everything we needed and the small details the owners thought about the guest needing was an extra bonus. All beds were comfortable and the beautiful views were enjoyed by everyone. If I ever visit the area again, I will definitely book an his amazing home!"
