"Surf Inn is a gorgeous motel with a setting overlooking the bluffs and the ending of the Gualala River as it meets the vast Pacific Ocean. Rooms are comfortable and parking in front is more than ample. And huge bonus is the on site laundry room available for guests. You just NVR know when this comes in so handy . Daily continental breakfast is nice and coffee is available all day either in each room with a provided Keurig Brewer or at the front office. Beverages are also available at the front office for a minimal fee . Walking distance to most eateries "

"We had a wonderful time staying at the Cliff House. The views are amazing from the deck. The hot tub was comfortable and soothing after a few hours of warming it up to optimal temperature from a starting temperature of 76. The King bed in main bedroom is comfortable, and that bathroom is large and convenient. We appreciated the reasonably priced option on our stay for late checkout at 2pm as well. Would definitely stay again in the future."

"We loved staying here! Clean, cozy, and close to great coffee and Thai food. Diane and Damian were very friendly and welcoming. They heated up our room for us on a cold evening. We had to leave early but Diane brought over granola for us the night before so we could enjoy it for breakfast. Lovely hosts! "

"Our host was very responsive and accommodating. When we initially had an issue with the kitchen equipment, he and his on site manager went out of their way to make it right. Outside of this one issue, the amenities were all wonderful. The beds were very comfortable as well as all of the furniture. The bathroom supplies were all plentiful. The hot tub was enjoyed by some of our family. You could not ask for a better view of the coastline. "

"Wonderful quaint and cute inn with spectacular views of Anchor Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The Whale Watch octagonal room was like time capsule from the 70s with big comfy couches around a central fireplace and lots of activities. Miren the owner and manager is super helpful, accommodating, and a a great resource about the history of the property. Definitely a fun and memorable experience! "
