"The Swan suite was the ideal little refuge for my husband and I. Everything felt quaintly charming yet spotless and we particularly enjoyed breakfast with an ocean view on our own balcony, sipping local wines by the fire place (it took a minute to figure out proper ventilation, but worked well enough to spread a romantic mood), taking a bath in our own jacuzzi with the rain drumming on the glass roof, and even making smaller meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Miren gave us the warmest and most personal welcome imaginable, told us some stories about the area, the place, the people, made sure we had everything we needed (including a corkscrew which she happily provided), and gave us a full tour of the property and community room (the view from which is the property cover picture). There is a little convenience store within a 2 minute drive in Anchor Bay which was well stocked, but for proper grocery shopping and more dining options we drove to Gualala as well as Point Arena. The property's direct beach access had been interrupted due to a storm earlier this year, but there are plenty of other small coves you can drive to in no time, as well as access to the same beach via the adjacent camping grounds."

"Nice property. Very chill environment. I had the beach view room which was great to wake up to and hear the waves crashing in the middle of the night. Very friendly staff, shout outs to jade for being so kind and sweet. Definitely will be going back in the near future. "

"The homemade breakfast was the best part of the stay! It was a lovely selection and sooo delicious! We were in the room closest to the road so we got a lot of road noise in our room. There was no ocean view, it’s located on the other side of Highway 1 with private property between the hotel and the ocean, so no direct path or access in the area either. Lovely gardens on property, and a small but cute hot tub at the top of the hill along with a fire pit. Plan ahead as you will need to reserve the hot tub."

"The view is beautiful! The living room is laid out nicely, with one side for enjoying the view and the other for TV entertainment. The kitchen is well equipped. There are actually two bathrooms, one more than advertised. Markets and restaurants are in easy walking distance. The Mexican bakery next to the supermarket is terrific, as is the Mexican and pizza restaurant next to it. The bluff trail along the river between the house and the ocean was a nice walk for our dog. It is only a short drive to free beach access at Walk-on Beach and Shell Beach. Overall, it is a great place, and we would stay here again."

"Absolutely loved this house! The view is spectacular! House was clean and well stocked. The shower was amazing. Check in was easy and you can't beat the location. I brought my dog which also was easy. I will definitely stay here again."
