"The check in after hours was easy and check out with the front desk was also easy and pleasant. The bed was comfortable and room was nice but the bathroom was in very poor condition. The bathtub was chipping, the mirror was damaged, and there were ants."

Though an older Inn, the grounds and room were clean and well maintained, and the view from our balcony was beautiful. Point Arena is a small town, so it does have limited shops and dinning, more so during off-season. "

"We have rented many properties both on and off The Sea Ranch in this area and have never felt a need to provide a negative review of any of them. It is sad that this home, in such a fabulous location, is being neglected. Generally the house was clean however, a USED CONDOM WAS FOUND ON THE FLOOR OF BEDROOM #2! This is absolutely unacceptable, unsanitary and disgusting.The location and views are spectacular but it would appear that all but critical maintenance issues are being deferred. The hot tub enclosure has been damaged and open to the wind since at least 2023 making the enclosure unsafe and the hot tub basically unusable. Interior paint is in poor condition. Door stop is missing on master bath resulting in damaged wallboard. Furniture is getting tired. Exterior hose bibb handle is broken requiring operation with channel lock pliers left on the hose rack. For the price being charged, guests should expect better."

"I had a wonderful stay. The home was welcoming and comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and instructions were clear. It was great to have a SR map so I could plan my days. I loved the deer on the lawn, the sounds of the birds, watching the stars from the bed in the loft or while enjoying the hot tub, and the exquisite quiet of Sea Ranch. The home is on the east side of Hwy 1, and I was initially skeptical, but the blue water and some white water views were gorgeous, and I could hear the waves crashing. Thank you!"
