"A great hotel option for our one-night stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we used the pool which was very good. We didn't have an evening meal there however the buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of options. The room was very comfortable and although paying for parking isn't the best option it was secure parking and there was a discount for guests."

"This is a fantastic hotel, really helpful and friendly staff. Our room was huge with comfortable beds, the room was very clean and had black out curtains. No mini fridge in the room which would have been nice. The restaurant and bar are gorgeous rooms, lovely decor throughout the hotel. The grounds are a nice place for a stroll. Brrakfast was fantastic, lots of choice. I would stay here again."

"We had an amazing stay at Hotel 131 The Promenade, recommended by a friend who also had a great experience. We opted for one of the high-end rooms, which was huge with an amazing and extremely spacious bathroom. The hotel staff were very attentive and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was very buzzy, with bars and even a DJ outside, making us feel like we were at a beach club. As a couple, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return. The hotel is very fun and beautifully decorated. The only minor drawback was that the room was quite dark, even with all the lights on, and the corridors had some marks on the walls from suitcases, which affected the presentation slightly. However, apart from that, we will definitely be rebooking. Highly recommended for a vibrant and luxurious stay!"

"Amazing stop over great hotel excellent facilities and food"

"Quirky place, our room backed onto the garbage area for multiple business so it was quite loud in the morning and it seems a popular spot for loud cars at night. Overall, this place was great, don’t expect perfect, it’s very old. Walls have stains and are very dusty. But the sheets were clean and so was the bathroom. Staff is wonderfully friendly and breakfast was great. I would stay here again in a heart beat. "

" A 2 day stay with friends, lovely hotel,...First night was fine at dinner, 2nd night clashed with a "murder mystery night" and dining room staff were under pressure to provide a prompt service. (2 hours for 2 courses) Menu needs to change more frequently, perhaps providing a changeable "specials" board?"
