"No staff at all hence 1*. Lovely clean and modern very central and perfect stopover. Would be much better if had a proper luggage room with strong digital lockers to leave what you want - only cables and padlocks so useless really - and some form of essentials shop. One irritation is that all but one power socket is integrated with a light switch which pushes adaptors back out making them unusable."

"Enjoyed our stay. Very clean, great location, loved the free public transport pass. Only negative was the parking. It was quite confusing where we were allowed to park Some instructions prior to arrival would have helped immensely. Had to walk quite far in the lot to the hotel."

"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Seaside in Spiez. The room was comfortable and good for us. There was no air-conditioning, but we were able to open the door and windows for fresh air. We arrived before check-in time, and the hotel allowed us to leave our luggage while we explored Spiez. The receptionist was helpful and explained how to get to the pier and told us about the beautiful walking path along the lake behind the property. We really enjoyed walking there. The scenery around the hotel is beautiful, with Lake Thun, mountains, flowers, and lovely houses. Transportation was also very convenient. We could travel between Spiez and Thun by boat or train, and there is bus transportation between the train station and the hotel. Breakfast was good, and we especially enjoyed eating with the beautiful lake view from the dining area. We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed the peaceful location and beautiful scenery."
Beatenberg Resort & Spa in Beatenberg Interlaken

"Great stay at Beatenberg Resort & Spa. Cruz the manager was super friendly and went out of his way to help us out. Hotel’s got a lot of history, and the view from the dining room is gorgeous. Our room was spacious, easily fit the three of us. Big plus: the bus stops right out front and gets you into Interlaken Ost or West in about 20-30 minutes. Interlaken itself is stunning — highly recommend staying here as your base."

"The coffee station available 24/7 was delightful! Staff helped us navigate restaurants. The location was good for walking around old town. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I’d highly recommend this hotel"

Hotel Eden Spiez

"We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Eden! It is a beautiful property, amazing views and the perfect couples retreat! We arrived a little early by train (we took the Golden Pass train from Montreux which was also a highlight) and so we enjoyed the spa and a private pool until our room was ready. The deluxe room was spacious with gorgeous views and very comfortable! The breakfasts were lovely and we really enjoyed evening cocktails on the patio if the restaurant. Speiz is a great little town as well. We were not traveling with our children although they would have loved the town too! We will absolutely return!"

"Very easy to reach with bus 101 or 107 from Bern with a supermarket just next door. Lovely room, helpful staff and excellent value for money. Don’t really understand the negative reviews as we loved it!"
