"There were people up all night in the downstairs parking area shouting and fighting> 1 am - 3 am and again rom 4-6. I should have called the police. It was an awful night."

"The converted motel has several appealing features — it was clean, the Le Labo products smelled wonderful, and the lobby bar is beautifully designed. Unfortunately, the level of service fell well below expectations. Two days before our arrival, I received a survey asking whether we’d like any additional amenities, which initially gave me a very positive impression of the hotel’s attention to detail. However, upon check-in, not only was the requested amenity missing, but the room was also inadequately stocked: there was only one roll of toilet paper, a nearly empty tissue box with just three tissues remaining, and only two towels for three guests. I requested additional towels, but they were never delivered. The following morning, I asked again and was met with a dismissive, somewhat snarky response that they would arrive later. By 4 p.m., we still had not received them, and when I followed up, I was told my name was “on a list,” though no one could say when the towels would actually be available. Throughout the stay, the staff came across as indifferent rather than genuinely helpful, and service was often delivered with attitude rather than hospitality. While the hotel’s location is excellent and the property itself has charm, I left feeling unconvinced that the hotel currently has the staffing or linens needed to provide a truly top-tier guest experience."

Chic Pittsfield Home With A View!

"Imagine walking into a cold home at 6 pm and not being able to find or operate the heating system.After trying to contact the rental agency and finding the wall panel (light out in the hallway made it more difficult) my partner and I took matters into our own hands.We popped open the panel and saw there were batteries,but could not replace them.We took the risk and pulled this portion off of the wall.We did the work that should have been done before we arrived.Searching the home there were many batteries,but not AA.So we went in both directions on Rt 7 and found a Stop and Shop.There we purchased 4 new AA's and two bundles of firewood and starters.Considering the only two questions I had for you were pertaining to heat and the fireplace...I was particularly put out.Berkshire rentals offered to pay for the batteries and the wood.Unfortunately the damage was already done.If I had arrived after sunset,this would have been a complete fiasco.I would have turned around and asked for a complete refund. Having used another rental company many times throughout my travels,this is completely opposite of what we have experienced.Our last trip in the Eastern Townships of Quebec,we arrived at 10 pm.The 350 year old farmhouse was heated and a fire was stacked only requiring a match.I would fire your current administrative service on the spot.I would not recommend your home until you either assume control over the workings of the home or find another provider of services."

Beautiful Lenox Home, 3 Mi to Shakespeare & Co!

"We are older gentlemen who participate in the Josh Billings Triathlon. The house is located near the areas we would be using. The house was comfortable and roomy. Our previous experience was to stay in a motel, which doesn't lend itself to sharing space. We loved sharing breakfast together and socializing both before and after the event. We were close to restaurants and ice cream places. The days following the event, we were close to hiking trails, a rail trail for bicycling and we went back for another kayak session. How great to be close to all these activities! It was easy to contact Mary with questions we had regarding the locations of restaurants etc. We hope to be able to return next year."
