"Wonderful all around. Just one tiny detail from the check in desk, where we could sense the attendant was probably dealing with some personal matters and projected that to her work."

"Where do I start. My husband I waited 28 years for our honeymoon. Booked this through Expedia. Loved the idea for room service! This hotel advertised room service. THERE IS NO ROOM SERVICE. I booked a handicap room and was put on the 6th floor. I was never given Emergency Exit information for disabled people and it was not on the door. Now, the king size bed. My husband and I could feel every spring in the mattress and when sitting on the end of the bed, the top of the bed rose up very high in the air and we went to the floor. There was plastic on the wall with tape in the hallway and the carpets all need a thorough cleaning! The bathroom was very clean. Room 615. Check in May 15th and to check out May 18th. I am disabled and the pain in my back was horribly worse and we had to leave! We left May 17th! Our honeymoon was ruined. I do not recommend this hotel! I told them about the bed and why we were leaving one day early and asked them to get a new mattress so the next person in the handicap room would not experience the pain I was in and my husband was in. The staff was excellent, that is why I am giving this hotel a one star. Expedia needs to be up to date on the amenities of the hotels they offer to book. I should get reimbursed for one day that I could not stay there!"

"This is one of the oldest hotels on the island and with that said. It is old. In our room the toilet paper holder and towel holder was broken. The light on the balcony was falling off. It felt clean otherwise. We got a suite for 6 people but only 2 people could eat breakfast for free. Otherwise it’s $25/person for a continental style breakfast. If you plan to rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach there is that option or you have to sit behind 3 rows of them set up which blocks your view of the water. The pool area and outdoor space is nice. Only one of the smaller pools is heated. The outside doors are unlocked during the day and underneath the staircase there was a homeless man sleeping on a blanket with a toilet paper roll next to the area. Felt unsafe going up and down the stairwell. A nice stay for a short trip but wouldn’t stay here for a longer."

"Hotel ZaZa Houston was a great stay with a true luxury feel. The staff were amazing and made the experience feel very personalized from the moment I arrived, including a lovely glass of bubbly rosé at check-in. The hotel itself has a beautiful old Hollywood vibe, with stylish decor and a signature scent throughout that makes the whole place feel elegant and memorable. I really appreciated the thoughtful amenities like the morning coffee station on each floor and the afternoon cookies in the lobby. The complimentary car service within a 3-mile radius was incredibly convenient and made getting around feel easy and safe, especially as a solo female traveller. My only small drawback was that the air conditioning unit was quite loud when running. Overall, a wonderful stay and I would definitely return."

"This review is specifically about the staff working valet parking morning of Sunday 5/17/2026. He had a very bad attitude and I seriously recommend some customer service training for him. I misplaced the valet ticket given to me the night before, in spite of the fact that my jeep was parked right in front of the hotel he refused to give me my keys. My last name and my room number was written on the tag on the keys but he just refused to open the key cabinet to look for my keys. He kept asking me over and over what my tag number was and I kept telling him that I did not know what it was so he simply said he couldn't help me. What was I supposed to do? Leave my car there and walk home? Very poor management. Will never stay there again."
