"Lovely hotel with overall. Beds comfy. Would have preferred a walk in shower. Rooms very hot without heating on and window open. Breakfast was lovely. Restaurant needs updating as carpets at the back of restaurant were stained and wood work was abit shabby. Staff were excellent. But had a lovely time"

"Staff excellent. Breakfast great Rooms very very nice. Stayed last year but this year showed a massive improvement. Had a room downstairs far superior to upstairs. A little noisy around 130 am but nothing you can do about that. Staff considerately and diplomatically moved non disabled parking guest out of disabled space. Very thoughtful. Definitely recommend it. Will be back. Receptionist on duty 830 am last Tuesday was exceptional."

"The hotel it’s self was very good the room was a bit tired around the edges but clean, the swimming pool and jacuzzi was very good and a bonus sauna in each changing room, there is a gym that looked very equipped with equipment, towels and fruit at the reception of the spa, the food was excellent good portion size I’m a vegan and was spoilt for choice, to get in to Chester was so easy with 2 bus choices right on the doorstep, would definitely go back"

"A nice century located hotel for anything to do in the city of Chester convenient for the river and the town centre I was using it while attending Trackdays operated by Opentrack at Oulton Park. Good safe car park however there is limited underground parking but all in all a nice hotel can’t really fault it Sam for present and if you get one with a view over the racecourse you have sending views as well"

"The big plus was the room - very well-sized and spacious. The hotel was clean and quiet. There's a small bar, which was nice, though it closed quite early. Breakfast was quite good (without being spectacular). Location is very good. I would happily stay again."

The Queen at Chester Hotel - Handwritten Collection

"Super comfortable bed! Quiet room with an opening window for fresh air. Some aspects were were showing their age due to the age of the structure (cracks in ceiling types of things) but updated and decor was beautiful. Great helpful staff. Close to the train station, reasonable walk to the old city center for an average fit person. Bar was beautiful but I didn't have time to stop due to sight seeing."
