"Cooks Flat is a great find in Wrexham! Tranquil, peaceful and beautiful walks on the property. What a treat to stay on a private estate and visit the Victorian kitchen and games room. I appreciated the welcome gifts and hospitality from the hosts too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in the area."

"It had all the comforts of a home! Full kitchen, TV with plenty of channels to choose from; electric fireplace; very cozy. Quiet location, met friendly people at both local pubs. Landlord was easily available and helpful. Bedding was too warm for us. Would have liked a lighter comforter or blanket and a small bar of hand soap in the bathroom. "

"The Coach House is a lovely property with incredible views. The property was immaculate and lots of consideration given to travellers. The welcome pack was much appreciated and Chris could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. I loved the upside down style and it did not affect the views. The house is cosy and welcoming at the end of a long day. Chris has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Chris x"

"The property was very well presented, equipped and comfortable, although the bed in the eaves may be a challenge for some!It was great to be able to see (and travel on) the trains. We were invited to view the signal box.The area is lovely, with lots to do nearby.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - highly recommended."

Would say slightly bigger than a static with the added extras. Parking was a bit of a pain as there is only a small space between each lodge."

"Lovely place for a stay but ruined by blatant dishonesty. Owners advertise on multiple platforms that there is an indoor pool - they even have pics, but the "pool" is apparently at an indoor leisure club 4 miles away. Absolute jokers. Even when i contacted the club- i still had to pay for going swimming. Such a disappointing stay and ive lodged refund request from hotels.com"

"The cottage was beautifully furnished, very comfortable, warm and clean. We did not want to leave. The under floor heating gave a lovely warmth, and the games room was an added bonus. One of the loveliest cottages we have ever stayed in, and that was a sentiment from all the guests. Lovely and helpful hosts too. We will definitely return."
