"A genuinely special place to stay. The setup was cosy and self-contained, with views of both the sea and across the garden, complete with horses! The cream tea waiting for us on arrival was such a lovely touch after the long drive, and the fresh croissants were a simple addition we appreciated every day. "Arrived 20 to 30 minutes before check in time due to the bad weather only to be told there was a fee for early arrival which didn’t make for a great start when everywhere else that we had stayed was fine with it as it wasn’t far off the stated time of arrival. The rooms are basic. For the price they should include breakfast. Rooms are not serviced during your stay. We were there 3 nights. We were in a downstairs room and could hear every footstep made from the room above. It’s a means to an end type accommodation but if you can avoid it I would. Not good value for the price."
