"The bathroom was basic, black mould under shower door, curtains were grubby in living area which had holes in lining light could been seen through them. Ceiling paper was peeling off, main window couldn't be opened only with a block of wood. Carpets weren't clean, stained throughout. Wouldnt stay again. Interesting to read other comments from previous people! "

"All the staff were excellent., the position of the hotel is right on the rocks with fantastic sea views all round. Lovely village with nice little shops, bars, pubs and eating places to cater for all tastes."

"The hotel is lovely and I would recommend staying there, breakfast had everything you need. However we were shocked to find that the swimming pool and golf had additional costs and when going down for food Sunday evening the only thing available was Sunday lunch. These things should be made clear. "

"The property was perfect for our needs. The views were great. Ours was an Autumn stay so didnt use the garden but it must be lovely in the summer.....secure and no paths or road directly outside. Not overlooked...parking private and spacious...the property had everything you could need....clean...comfortable...great access to the beach and coast path. (We no longer have dogs ....i did think that i may have been worried about them bringing too much sand or wet inside as the door opens directly into the kitchen diner...so recommend taking plenty of dog towels). We have been staying on the same site for about 14 years in a row but the chalet we used to rent is no longer available....this was an even better alternative so we will definitely try and use it again. The host was in touch before and during our stay to wish us a happy stay and to check we has everything we needed. No negatives at all. "

"We love it here. This was our second time at the property. It's perfect for our young family and is the ideal location for spending loads of time at the beach.One good addition to the property would be a clothes airer for drying off beach towels and wet suits etc.The kids have already asked us to book next year's holiday here!"

"We had a great stay at the elms and the property is stunning and in a great location. The only negative point we found was that the general cleaning of the property could have been better. This didn’t spoil our holiday though and I would return again."
