"The breakfast was served late. Restaurant opened at 07:45. This was enforced. I was also told when I arrived by the manager that as I hadn’t booked a breakfast (before I arrived) I would not be allowed a breakfast till 09:30 on the Monday. When I queried this I was basically told. Nothing the manager could do. Luckily the restaurant staff were more helpful. "

"The Nook was exceptionally clean and everything looked as if it were never used before. The kitchen was fully equipped. The beds were comfortable and a smart tv in room meant I could relax and watch a movie. It was only 15 minute walk to town. The place itself was a bit hard to find. Google maps were sending me close but I eventually had to ask a local where Alexander road was."

"A very clean and comfortable inn, but not a truly good hotel. The staff, while very nice and helpful, are not available much of the time, the location is somewhat far from the city center and there is no bus service, only taxis which do not operate all the time…I felt the place is truly an inn—mostly a bar/limited restaurant with some nice rooms to let…For guests with their own cars, I’m sure it is far more satisfactory. "Nicely located a short walk from both beaches and the town centre. It is very clean and tidy. The room we stayed in was lovely. Mary who ran it was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The parking spot is invaluable in St Ives as there is literally nowhere to park without paying a fortune (if you can find a car park with a free space that is). The town has very narrow single lane roads so the last thing you want to be doing is driving round looking for somewhere to park. Very pleased...

"Lovely Easter break! The 'Owl' room was ideal for the four of us, as has bunks for the kids & a fabulous super-king bed. Superb Breakfasts & Sunday roast served by hosts Dave, Jackie & their team. 5 min drive from St Ives, didn't cause us an issue. This is quite a remote spot so would need a car as not much within walking distance. Excellent base for touring the extreme 'Pointy end' "

"The property is excellent, with fantastic views of the beach. You can walk to St Ives in about 10 minutes, a bit steep on the way back. The swimming pool was a great success with all the family. It has a Smart TV, which is great if you are good with these new things. I did find the oven very frustrating to use. You do get instructions but not the easiest oven I have ever used. All in all a fantastic time."
