"Very dated property & no atmosphere "

"Outstanding property, very clean and well maintained. The staff were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Food in the hotel was slightly expensive, but the food was very good and full of flavour. I especially recommend the ginger pudding with clotted cream. It was so light and delicious. The grounds were beautiful and we even saw a tawny owl. Highly recommended and we will return."

"Lovely hotel, beautiful views and comfy rooms. Breakfast was nice but a shame you pay extra for anything outside the continental. Would need aircon if it got any hotter than when we were there. Would definitely stay again."

"Nice flat, good kitchen, we found tea, coffee, milk in the fridge and cookies! Thanks!The living room is comfortable and has a possibility to warm it up with a type of chimney(warm air). The only downside is that the bathroom was quite cold (April) and not easy to heat.I recommend this flat, it is good for even longer stays."

"The property was perfect for our needs. The views were great. Ours was an Autumn stay so didnt use the garden but it must be lovely in the summer.....secure and no paths or road directly outside. Not overlooked...parking private and spacious...the property had everything you could need....clean...comfortable...great access to the beach and coast path. (We no longer have dogs ....i did think that i may have been worried about them bringing too much sand or wet inside as the door opens directly into the kitchen diner...so recommend taking plenty of dog towels). We have been staying on the same site for about 14 years in a row but the chalet we used to rent is no longer available....this was an even better alternative so we will definitely try and use it again. The host was in touch before and during our stay to wish us a happy stay and to check we has everything we needed. No negatives at all. "

"We love it here. This was our second time at the property. It's perfect for our young family and is the ideal location for spending loads of time at the beach.One good addition to the property would be a clothes airer for drying off beach towels and wet suits etc.The kids have already asked us to book next year's holiday here!"

"We had a great stay at the elms and the property is stunning and in a great location. The only negative point we found was that the general cleaning of the property could have been better. This didn’t spoil our holiday though and I would return again."
