"The Pod was amazing, we don’t think the photos do it justice! We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay and would love to visit again. Kevin and Michelle have thought of everything and were excellent with communicating details for directions and check in/out times. The location is brilliant, so close to St Ives and Carbis Bay, and the main bus route is right on the main road. Would highly recommend to anyone considering staying here. "

"The room was phenomenal, everything was provided by the host prior to our arrival and communication was clear and succinct. The cottage was clean and ready for myself and the family, and we had a great time, it was near St Ives and Carbis Bay which was a simple five minutes walk away from the cottage. The stay would have been better if the parking was clearly listed and that the WiFi signal goes to the rear bedroom as well. But other than that it was a great experience. Would highly recommend...

"We had a good welcome by Mark on our arrival who took time to tell us about the area and transport. The room was comfortable and clean and had a fridge with fresh water and milk everyday. Very good choice of breakfast, cooked and presented well. There is also private parking on the grounds. The Mustard tree is located within walking distance for the train station and also a beautiful walk along coast to St. Ives. Also there are plenty of beaches in the local area."

"Really enjoyed my stay here - bear in mind that it’s an old establishment so don’t expect modern decor in the bedrooms. It’s traditional. "The staff were so incredibly helpful and kind and we ended up being able to park in the hotel parking lot, which was a nice surprise. The room definitely needed to be updated and didn’t match the photos (we had a huge shag carpet in our room over the original rug which was clearly used to cover a big stain but honestly really kind of gross). I wouldn’t say our room was all that clean but the bedding was spotless and the bed itself was comfortable. Location was fantastic, right across from the beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was standard (coffee was bad). Again, can’t state enough how friendly and helpful the staff were."

"Just got back from spending a week here in August..the house itself is absolutely beautiful..its much bigger than it looks in the photos so ample space for an extended family to either have quality time together or take some time away from the main group. If i had a niggle it would be that the oven could do with being a double or maybe have an air fryer added as trying to cook for 10 people with one oven was impossible so had to do 2 sittings , though only really had 2 meals in the property at night so wasnt too much of a dissapointment .we also had a couple of issues whilst there that were dealt with almost immediately so again huge plus with that .the mattresses in the children's twin room are a little hard which children don't seem to notice but as an adult i found quite uncomfortable and used several quilts found in another room which seemed to help,in speaking to all the other guests they all slept incredibly well and said their beds were very comfortable.amazing to have so many bathrooms so no issues at shower time ..the living room looks small in the pictures but its much larger and easily accommodated all of us and the seating area for meals worked perfectly.the house itself is in an ideal location with a train station a 5 min walk giving easy access directly to carbis bay and st ives costing around 10 for 10 people return , so much better than driving and trying to park not to mention much cheaper .this place is perfect in every way would definitely recommend"
