"I was a bit apprehensive before arriving at the hotel as the price seemed to good to be true, but the staff were fantastic super friendly and helpful making jokes etc, the room we were in was very dated but it didn’t take away from the weekend we had, the spa was great and breakfast was yummy. Great location if you are wanting to climb Snowden only a short drive away. The town its self is super cute some lovely places to eat and drink. The only negative I will say is we had to pay £10 per night to park but apparently that was because we booked through a third party if you book direct it’s free. Also the receptionist did say they may be able to price match so definitely worth giving them a call if your thinking of staying. We would definitely stay there again. "

"Lovely spacious room, comfortable bed, amazing shower. Views to the sea and seating area outside. Staff were friendly, good pub food. Nice and quiet. Own parking too Perfect for a nights stay pity it wasn’t longer "

"The breakfast was delicious! The room was very nice too (Executive King). The grass needed mowing and cuttings/ weeds sweeping away - it would have the exterior look more attractive. Signage for the parking and overflow parking could have been clearer - it was difficult it was difficult in the dark. "

"Disappointed that I was not notified that they had a wedding at the hotel as this affect my stay, no food being served at night and the poor staff was extremely busy, I had to go somewhere else to get a drink. "

"This hotel is super convenient- fantastic in fact. HOWEVER, the walls are paper thin, the heating comes on all through the night and is loud, and the bed and pillows are pretty uncomfortable. The food is great. So, take ear plugs and your own pillow and you may get some sleep."

"A wonderful stay at Oakley Hotel! The rooms are full of charm — beautifully old-style yet surprisingly comfortable. Dinner, we are steak pie which was delicious and breakfast were both delicious, and the staff were warm and welcoming throughout. Highly recommend!"
