"Absolutely perfect. I could not have found a better host anywhere. The room is clean and lovely. The garden is beautiful. The breakfast are just delicious. Mother is a really good cook and I had the best vegetable roll and potato and egg samosa i have tried anywhere. The host made us so welcome and helped us with everything. He did all the hard work for us! The driver is lovely too. I feel privileged to stay here and regret I cannot stay longer"

"Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. Buffets were plentiful and delicious, great variety. Pool was so relaxing and lush gardens that were well kept really felt like paradise. "I spent four nights at the Lake Breeze during which time I was able to visit Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya, the cave temples in Dambulla and also a safai in the Minneriya National Park. Althought it's relatively easy to organise these visits independantly I decided to use transport provided by Lake Breeze. A little more expensive than sorting it all yourself but as I wasn't on a particularly tight budget I was happy with the arrangements. "

"This is a beautiful and tranquil place to stay. The rooms are excellent, the food wonderful, the staff incredibly accommodating and the natural habitat in which the Other Corner is situated forms perfect backdrop gor wildlife including a birds. The resident wildlife and naturalist Dhilip is a fount of knowledge and made the stay even better. The organic garden and lake are also a bonus. The Other Corner makes an excelllent base for touring the national parks, ancient cities and Sigiriya."

"Firstly the owner couldn't find our booking. This would be fine, but he was just unhelpful in resolving this, and came across as rude and indifferent. He kept just saying "I haven't got any money from you" or "you should call the company you booked through" (like no you should). We kept asking for the Wi-Fi so we could try to resolve this and he just stood there, then took ages to get it.
