"Excellent customer service from staff at front desk , and from the staff who greet you on arrival and help with your luggage. Upon arrival my suitcases were transferred from the taxi into the hotel, helped with my credit card payment problem with taxi, and my suitcases were taken up to my room . Such great customer service after a long flight was much appreciated. My room was small but adequate enough that I could lay my suitcases open on the floor easily. The bathroom is small but ok. The location of the hotel is excellent with lots of local restaurants nearby and close to several subways and train stations. Use Google map and locate the closest McDonald's. If you head there you will find lots of eating options close by. If you continue walking past McDonald's, you will find the Daimon subway, and if you walk further you will find another train station which will take you to Tokyo station. We chose to take a taxi to the Tokyo station and the cost was 2700 yen in May, 2025. There were several Family Marts and 7-Elevens on the route from Shiba Park to McDonald's. We ate at several of the tiny restaurants enroute to McDonald's and what I especially liked was the fact that mostly local people frequented these small restaurants. Shiba Park is rated as a "modest " hotel, but the staff takes it up a notch in my opinion. Each floor has a library room you can sit in while your hubby sleeps, and there is a water dispenser near the elevator on each floor. The ice machine is on the 5th."

"We enjoyed our 6 night stay at this hotel. The staff made us feel at home. The room was small but very comfortable and well appointed. The bed was so comfortable that I found myself thinking about it during the day! The breakfast buffet and other restaurant offerings are delicious! I would like to know where to buy the pajamas they provide in the room - so soft. The hotel is not centrally located but taxis are so easy to find and reasonable. If you dont speak Japanese you will need Google translate or the equivalent. I highly recommend this hotel. "
