"The staff are everything at this place. If anyone should write a handbook on how to do hospitality it’s these guys. "The Three Coopers is in the process of being taken over by Marsdens brewery, we went for a drink in a different pub before check-in and found out that another pub Green Dragon was running the accommodation, Marcia was fantastic she explained everything for us, the only issue for us was when 2 people lay on the bed you got the great big dip in the middle and is very hard to move, everything else was perfect, the Green Dragon team were thoughtful and very helpful my suggestion would be to message...

"On main road so expect noise didn’t worry us. Hotel is old so a bit shabby and outdated. No towel rack in room, so doing green thing and not changing towels daily ended up with wet towels next day for shower. Shower over bath. Cold shower second day blamed on tour bus group leaving that morning, there system should be able to cope. Very convenient bus to York city just across the road and only 2 pounds per adult, more convenient and cheaper than driving car in. "
