"As the name states this is an old inn. Room was decorated accordingly. Comfy beds with a reasonable sized ensuite. Evening meal was lovely and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good and cooked to order. All staff that we met were friendly."

"Lovely place and an excellent breakfast"

"Helpful friendly staff and a lovely stay."

"Great overnight , staff extremely helpful , John was very attentive."

"Great place to stay home from home"

"Very comfortable cottage in great central location close to all the places we wanted to visit. We will definitely be staying there again."

"The room and the service was excellent. Fully stocked room and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was delicious and everything we needed was provided. Sharon provided everything we needed during the stay, and made us felt very welcome. There are only two rooms within the tea rooms which made it feel very personal staying. The tea room is located in a lovely village that has 3 pubs and has some really nice walks. We have even booked to return next year."

"Good location with easy access to the A1. Warm welcome and friendly host. Tea and cake on arrival was a nice touch. Comfy room and good breakfast. Would happily recommend. "
