"I would like to give this 5 stars but I am unable to do so because of the local church which is very close to the cottage.For whatever reason, the bells were ringing out at all sorts of times — including 11pm, 2am and 6am!!The sound of the bells made it impossible to get a decent night’s sleep.Someone needs to report this and get it stopped."

"The property was well appointed and had everything we needed. The owner met us and showed us around. He also left us a lovely bottle of wine! The weather was so good we were able to walk everyday so spent very little time in the apartment. However, it was well equipped for entertainment if it had bern needed"

"Lovely apartment in a great location for exploring Whitby. Accommodation as described only comment being space in bedroom a bit tight but bed very comfortable."

"A lovely cottage in a great location. The cottage has everything you need and the bedrooms are a good size too. There are several uneven, steep steps walking up to the cottage so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who are unsteady on their feet. The owners left some biscuits and milk on the fridge which was a nice gesture. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again in the future when visiting Whitby."

"Excellent experience staying in this house! Great, quiet location and easy to access. The house itself is beautifully decorated and has a lovely atmosphere. It was extremely clean and well-organised with lots of different amenities provided. The kitchen is very well-equipped with various utensils and appliances. I also appreciated the selection of books and DVDs in the living room which come in handy on a rainy afternoon. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable and comfortable stay!"
