"The staff we came into contact with were really helpful and friendly. Eager to assist with any questions. For that we are very grateful. There is a lack of staff in the hotel area so you have to find them . The grounds are stunning so beautiful, however for wheel chair users the gardens are not at all friendly and no signs to suggest where to go. "Overall good stay, only real issue being unable to take the paid for breakfast, would be a good idea to ensure breakfast times are stipulated pre booking as have been changed to a later (8am) start. Host did provide a wrapped sausage sandwich and drink though. Room comfortable with all amenities to a very good standard . "

"Met up with a friend at this delightful guest house. Louise is an excellent host and was very informative about the area and where to visit. The breakfasts were delicious and plentiful and set us up for the day. Room was clean and well presented and Louise thoughtfully gave us an extra heater as it was a chilly day. "Lovely b&b. Fantastic 3 course meal. Highly recommended. Kate is a super host. But the two dogs beg at the breakfast/dinner table. They need to be kept in a separate room while guests are eating. Breakfast was disappointing. Cooked breakfast consisted of 2 streaky bacon,burnt sausage and a fried egg with yolk overcooked. Make sure you ask how you want your eggs cooked. First morning we asked for scrambled egg which were perfect! Also the bedroom door needs a proper key lock on it. Everything...
