This was honestly the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. Filled with Old World charm. It’s a true bed & breakfast in a family estate of multiple generations led by a matriarch who runs the show. You sit and have breakfast with several of them when they’re visiting, it’s remarkable - the bubbly grandson, his brilliant mother who is a local tour guide, and the elderly parents. This is a beautiful hotel over all. The property is fantastic. The service is terrific. The breakfast was amazing. The beds however are horrific. It’s like laying on a blanket covered slab of concrete. Hotels are in the business of sleep and should make comfort a number one priority. It’s like dipping a white table cloth in mud. The beds need to be replaced with something of real quality, like Hästens Beds, to match the beauty of the Hotel.
