"Good choice. It’s in the heart of the city. I remember living there when this building was derelict, so seeing it restored… I had to try it out. It’s really nice! Very clean, modern, and aesthetically pleasing. The inner corridors were immaculate. The smell was very welcome as well. Never change whatever that scent was throughout the lobby. Check in was decent… about shy of 10 minutes due to overbooking. I got a balcony room, but had to be moved to a corner room. Sad day. The room was still nice enough to give it a pass and was the best hotel of all of the hotels I stayed at with the other 2 being in DFW. The modern bathrooms with stand in showers are great. The room has a more recent Samsung tv that has your name on it when you walk in. The beds were comfy and it was hard to leave them after plopping down. The pool and restaurant were definitely upper tier. They even had a neat looking gym area. This isn’t a typical hotel along the freeway. Treat yourself and stay here. Parking is free as well. Did I not mention that? You’re downtown near some incredible restaurants, and the University is up the street if you’re there for an event. If I end up needing to visit Lubbock again, this would be the place I call home for a few days. 11/10. Would recommend."
