"The hotel is beautiful and provides a backdrop for photos. Before leaving my daughter and I tried on some hanboks and took photos. The heat was intense when we visited so it was a short activity. The collection is large but needs some maintenance. A very popular cafe was through the back gate, and we received a small discount on breakfast. Unfortunately, my husband found the futons too thin and felt uncomfortable. We piled up some extra futons. I found traditional inns in Japan has more comfortable futons with tatami mats. This set up wasn’t as comfortable for sleeping."

"The location was great as we also visited Gyeongju world. Options around the hotel for food outside are very limited so ended up going into the town every evening. Unfortunately the concierge were not very helpful when we asked questions on how best to see the sites, but just ended up using the internet to build our own itinerary. We had a family room for 4 but there were only 3 towels, 3 robes etc.. the first day we asked for extra, but then had to ask every other day. The buffet was good."
