"Fabulous cottage. Well equipped with everything you could need. Beautiful outlook from the deck. Some traffic noise but easily tuned out to hear the birds. Would visit again."

"Spacious family room which worked really well for two humans and one pooch for a night. Room at the back of the pub which was really really quiet and peaceful overnight. Such a shame the double glazing has blown and the view out over the fields was obscured as it was lovely. Good sized hot shower. A few hooks on doors and towel rails would be the only thing to add to the space. Lovely original character features in the room. Very comfortable beds made for a good night's sleep for all 3! Great dog walks on the doorstep of this dog accomodating accommodation. Good breakfast with bacon, egg and mushrooms cooked to perfection! Would stay again and recommend to stay at this friendly establishment."

"The cottage has easy access to Durham, Beamish, Hadrians Wall and a number of other attractions. The cottage offers great space with parking and a secure back yard if you want to take your bikes with you.The Quebec Tearoom opposite is very good and does Sunday Lunches."

"We really enjoyed our stay at jasmine cottage, we booked the dog friendly package. On the second day we had to return our dog back home as he managed to jump over the fence in the garden, the fence is extremely low for a dog and he was able to just jump over it. Therefore we couldn’t relax and let him run around in fear he would jump over it again. This was the only problem we had, the rest of the stay was great and we would return again but without the dog"
